Three former members of The Mayan Factor, guitarist Brian Scott, bassist Kevin Baker, and drummer Matthew Toronto, join together with (Damn) This Desert Air vocalist Craig Cirinelli and Telesma guitarist Chris Mandra (on keys/auxiliary) to form a new band spanning three states called Flowers For War. Despite the mileage between them (Maryland/Delaware/New Jersey), the pull was strong to compose and complete an album of 7 expansive songs, deep in mood, cinematic in nature, while also powerful and fervent.
Flowers For War's brand of album rock is both poignant yet healing. A dreamscape leaning on dynamic substance over force. This new group, together with Waterford Digital Studio owner Frank Marchand at the helm (Bob Mould/The Obsessed/We Banjo 3), cut tracks both within the studio and remotely to create a compelling new soundtrack beckoning for your attention.
